Asked Questions

orders through Paypal or by calling our store directly. We are
Paypal
Verified!
Q: Do you sell your candles wholesale?
A: Yes, we do. Please
contact us for information, and access to the wholesale section.
Q: Do you offer a catalog of your products?
A: We currently only offer a wholesale catalog to those companies who
provide us with a TAX ID/Resale Number. All of our products are online for
retail sales.
Q: Do you have a "brick and mortar" storefront?
A: Yes we do. You may visit our store located at 1308 N Highway 137
in Big Lake, TX 76932.
Q: Do your candles produce black soot?
A: Our candles are virtually soot-free as long as they are burned
properly according to the instructions found on the bottom of the jar, tin,
or packaging. Our soy wax candles are a clean burning alternative to other
types of candles. Occasionally a jar has turned black from the lighter or
matches especially when the wicks get close to the bottom of the jar.
Q: What type of wicks do you use?
A: We always use lead free wicks.
Q: Should I trim the wick?
A: Do not trim wick(s) before burning for the first time. Trim
mushrooms that develop, but keep wick(s) 1/2" long so candle burns properly.
Soy wax does require a much longer wick than other waxes so if it's trimmed
too short the wick could drown out. Please follow the instructions found on
the bottom of each jar, tin, or other packaging.
Q: How much wax should I leave in the bottom of the container and why?
A: Our jar candles are designed to extinguish themselves when 1/2" of
wax in the bottom of the container for safety reasons. This prevents the
container from becoming too hot.
Q: Do your candles have a strong scent throw?
A: Yes, our candles are scented with the maximum amount of high
quality fragrance oils that our wax will allow. Some scents are lighter than
others, but that is due to the nature of the scent rather than the strength
of our fragrance oils.
Q: How do you make your candles?
A: Our candles are individually hand-poured. This allows for each
candle to have it's own unique characteristics.
Q: What causes bumps, dents, or white marks in the wax after
extinguishing the candle?
A: Occasionally this may happen due to the nature of soy wax. The
benefits of soy wax far outweigh any appearance flaws.
Q: The last time I burned my candle and blew it out, the wick disappeared
down into the wax that was melted, what should I do?
A: This does not normally happen on candles that have been properly
extinguished. To get your wick back, take a long grill lighter and melt the
wax on the top layer until you can see the wick. Once you can see the wick,
dump out the wax that you have melted with the lighter into another wax safe
container, NOT into a trash can as the wax will melt the plastic. You can
then relight your candle and continue to enjoy it. Graphics & Content © 2003
